My name is Aimee Conaway and I am a contemporary fine artist based in Plano, Texas. I create art with a number of materials and mediums. I use acrylics and resins on gallery-wrapped and wood panel canvases. I also use enamels, texturizing materials, and other mediums to add different elements to my art. Most of my paintings are highly textured and developed from multiple layers. While I enjoy both fine art and abstract painting, I find the most joy in combining the two. The outcome is a harmonious interplay between structure and spontaneity, creating works that engage the viewer on both a cerebral and emotional level.

Commissions

My primary focus is on my collections and exhibitions. However, I love to offer the possibility of a unique, custom-made piece whenever I can. If you’re interested in purchasing a commissioned piece please contact me.

Please note a 50% deposit is required to start the commissioned piece.
The collector previews the commission near completion for final approval.
The remaining 50% is due upon completion.

All pieces will come with a Certificate of Authenticity and a Bill of Sale with an Insurance Valuation.

Framing the piece will be an additional costs. I do not offer installations outside of the DFW area.
